Call for educational workshops on the Lika Quality system, opportunities for development of agriculture and rural areas
Dear Sirs,
we invite you to the lecture on how to integrate into the Lika Quality system and the possibilities for development of agriculture and rural areas.
Lika Quality System aims to brand Lika as a gastronomic destination and thus directly assist agricultural producers in selling their products. At present, there are 98 products with this tag, and before calling for a third Public Call for Expression of Interest to use the Lika Quality Score for Products, the goal is to inform all interested parties in the Lika Destination area about Lika Quality System, the ways of applying, the criteria that each product must meet, the rules that each producer must respect, as well as the achievements in the process of branding the gastronomic destination.
The Lika Quality brand is protected by the State Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Croatia as a guarantee mark, the holder of the Lika Local Action Group, and the Lika Quality system implemented by Klaster Lika Destination.
From June to November last year, Cluster Lika Destination and Agricultural Cooperative Lika Coop established a trade with Lika Quality products in NP Plitvice Lakes, which will be open this year. In addition, we will soon approve the certification of catering facilities that have been labeled with Lika Quality and thereby enable local product placement in restaurants. Also, given that we are deliv- ering the destination as a destination of protected natural areas and cooperating with national parks and other protected areas in their destination, their souvenir shops will have special shelves with Lika Quality products.
Concerning the opportunities for development of agriculture and rural areas, an overview of the current state of affairs will be provided, including an overview of the measures currently approved by the measures; an indicative call for tenders will be announced in 2019; to present IAKS measures from the Rural Development Program and familiarize users with the possibilities of using HAMBAG BICRO funds to pre-finance business ventures.
