All workshops were held as part of the project "Career opportunities in tourism in Lika II"
The Lika Destination cluster, in partnership with the Polytechnic "Nikola Tesla" in Gospić and the Croatian Employment Service - regional office Gospić, and with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, implements the project "Career opportunities in tourism in Lika II" which aims to achieve synergy between employers and those employed in tourism with students and the unemployed.
As part of this project, workshops were held that provided the participants with useful information and tools for successful entry or advancement in the labor market in tourism. The workshops included topics such as approaching employers, creating CVs, non-verbal communication, information on CES vouchers, presentation of active employment policy measures of the Croatian Employment Service, and workshops at the Gospić Tourist Board.
The held workshops provided students and the unemployed with useful information and knowledge and provided the participants with tools and perspectives for successful entry or advancement in the labor market in the tourism sector. The project "Career opportunities in tourism in Lika" continues its mission of encouraging the development of human resources and strengthening capacities in tourism in the Lika region.
Another workshop awaits us, which will be held online on March 29 and is open to a wider audience, and will cover the following topics:
- the use of artificial intelligence in tourism
- environmentally friendly accommodation
- measures of the Croatian Employment Service
- Green Destinations certificate
