The City of Gospić, in cooperation with the Tourist Board of the City of Gospić, city institutions, civil society associations and other partners, prepared a rich and varied program on the occasion of Advent this year as well. The program will include various musical performers, including local folklore, brass, singing and dancing forces, and the young and popular entertainment singer Domenica will stand out, who, with the participation of the children, will bring additional joy by releasing lanterns of good wishes. The Christmas repertoire will also be presented by Kim Verson. In addition, the most beautiful stories from fairy tales such as "Sleeping Beauty" and "The Nutcracker" will be performed through the ballet of the Ukrainian Classical Ballet. A special cultural event will be Strauss's "New Year's Concert" by the symphony orchestra of the Kharkiv National Academic Theater, conducted under the artistic direction of Dmitri Morozov. In addition to musical pleasures, Advent in Gospić offers lectures, talk rooms and rich content intended for both children and adults. Traditionally, St. Nikola will be handing out gifts in Gospić's Cathedral, while quiz lovers will be able to have fun at get-togethers and pub quizzes in the Cultural Information Center, where the famous Croatian hunter Krešimir Sučević Međeral will be a special guest. The old year will be celebrated with the rhythms of fun music and excellent performers such as Bosutski bećari and the female band Učiteljice.
The Tourist Board of the City of Otočac and the City of Otočac have prepared a diverse Advent program this year that will enliven the city park. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy concerts of tambourine, fun and rock music, workshops for children, dance programs and a fair of local products. Weekends are reserved for top entertainment, and catering and ice rink will be available daily. We are expecting a competition in the preparation of "Zlatni ušćipak", a dance show on ice by the Zagreb flakes and performances by the Otočac DVD Wind Orchestra and the Tambourine Orchestra of the Gacka People's Open University Otočac. Saint Nicholas and Santa Claus will also visit Advent, bringing sweet gifts to the youngest. Especially interesting this year will be the 3D Christmas search for Santa Claus, which will include a quiz and virtual Christmas characters in five locations. Also, towards the end of December, the city park will host a Christmas mini showroom with virtual reality devices. The program begins on December 1 with the International Conference on Women in Entrepreneurship, and the opening of Advent with a concert by Klapa Iskon is planned for December 2.

The program begins on Friday, December 1st, with an exciting DJ party, while on Saturday they will be greeted by the ceremonial lighting of the first Advent candle and the spectacular lighting of lanterns for world peace. This special moment is scheduled for Saturday and is something you don't want to miss! The rich program culminates on New Year's Eve with an unforgettable surprise concert.
This year, the magic of Advent on the Plitvice Lakes will take place in two special locations - in the Slap Buffet at Entrance 1 and in the Winter Garden of the Jezero Hotel, and will last from December 9, 2023 to January 2, 2024. Join the opening of Advent on December 9, 2023 at the Jezero Hotel, where you will be able to enjoy the rich Advent gastronomic offer. During this period, experience special moments with family and friends in the peaceful and beautiful surroundings of Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Enjoy various activities such as a horse-drawn carriage ride in front of Hotel Jezero from 15:00 to 18:00, Facepainting in the Congress Hall of Hotel Jezero from 15:30 to 18:00 and the show "Čarobna zima – Klaun Šarenko" in the Congress Hall of Hotel Jezero with beginning at 18:00.

This year's rich Advent program in Perušić brings a series of magical moments and holiday atmosphere for all visitors. The already traditional Čarolija na Grabovača, which starts on December 2 at 3:00 p.m., illuminates the park with hundreds of lights, creating holiday magic for the little ones. In the center of Perušić, on December 15, a Holiday pop&rock party awaits us with the group Tajno ime, providing good entertainment for all visitors. A specially designed children's program, on December 21, brings the play "Whitebeard brings gifts" performed by the Gavran theater, while the Children's Advent Day at the Perušić Elementary School will include a performance by students and interesting workshops. A charity Christmas market and an open-air Christmas quiz enrich the advent activities, and the Trio Marinero will entertain visitors on December 23. Throughout the New Year's Eve period, Perušić will be decorated and decorated thanks to the support of the Municipality of Perušić, Grabovača Cave Park, Perušić d.o.o. and the Public Library of the Municipality of Perušić. The highlight of the holiday magic will be the New Year's Eve in a heated tent with the Tamburak band Baruff - inviting everyone to bring a smile, joy and good will to celebrate the holidays together in Perušić.

Visitors can expect lighting, the smell of mulled wine and plenty of Christmas decorations, creating a magical atmosphere as part of the Christmas magic on Grabovača. A small Christmas market will provide an opportunity for delicious treats such as homemade cakes and the purchase of appropriate Christmas decorations and souvenirs. Enjoy the warmth at Rudolf's with mulled wine, various sausages and Christmas fritters. A special surprise is the "Land of Winter", a new corner within the spell. Numerous activities have been organized for the youngest, such as the Search for Lost Stories, children's workshops, Grandma's Christmas story and face painting. Santa Claus will hand out small gifts and happily pose for visitors. Children will have the opportunity to send their wishes with Santa's Mail. Don't forget about the last tour of the Samograd cave this year. The Christmas magic at Grabovača is organized by the Public Institution "Grabovača Cave Park", the Public Library of the Municipality of Perušić and the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Perušić, inviting everyone to forget their worries for at least one day and enjoy the positive energy, good wishes and joy that Christmas brings.
