The project "Career opportunities in tourism in Lika II" was approved for the Lika Destination cluster.
The Lika Destination cluster, in partnership with the Polytechnic "Nikola Tesla" in Gospić and the Croatian Employment Service, successfully received approval from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports for the "Career Opportunities in Tourism in Lika II" project.
The goal of the project is to achieve synergy between employers and employees in tourism with the unemployed and young people. Through education, transfer of knowledge and networking, it is planned to strengthen capacities and create a foundation for cooperation. A network of contacts will be established to facilitate mentoring, knowledge exchange and quality networking.
Education will focus on encouraging an interdisciplinary approach in tourism education, with an emphasis on sustainability, green and digital aspects. The project will provide opportunities for learning different skills and support for those who want to develop their own tourism projects.
The expected impact of the project is the development of awareness about the possibilities of improving careers in tourism, strengthening the attractiveness of tourist occupations and supporting the goal of developing sustainable tourism. After the internal educations, thematic educational workshops open to the general public are planned, contributing to fresh perspectives and opportunities in the tourism sector.
