Balkan Cavers Camp arrives in Cerovac Caves
Balkan Cavers Camp this year will be held in Lika in the Cerovac Caves. The official program starts on May 30 and lasts until June 2. in 2024.
The Balkan Speleological Union, conceived in 2007, is the proud host of this already traditional annual event held in different countries across the Balkan Peninsula. The main goal of this event is to foster a dynamic network of connections and cooperation between speleological organizations from the Balkans, as well as the international community. This event is a hub for the exchange of information, expertise and innovative ideas and plays a key role in launching joint research projects and expeditions.
Every year, some new elements are introduced into the program, and this year is no exception. Along with the opportunity to visit and explore some of the most beautiful caves, a series of workshops is also being launched. These workshops will be led by experts from various countries and aim to broaden the scope of cave exploration techniques and improve skills.
In addition to already known workshops, presentations and programs, many surprises are in store, so join this exciting camp in Lika!
