IQM Members - Museum of Gacka Otočac

The Museum of Gacka Otočac is a native museum located in the very center of Otočac, in the building of the ''Gacko pučko otvoreno učilište Otočac'', where it operates. The museum is an excellent starting point for getting to know the rich and diverse heritage of Otočac and Gacka, and it takes about 45 minutes to visit the museum.

The permanent exhibition will tell the story of the six-thousand-year-long history of the settlement of this region, will introduce visitors to recent historical events, highlight the works of local artists, and in the last part will present the reconstruction of a traditional village house and tell the story of how people lived in Gacka a hundred years ago. .

The expert guides of the Museum od Gacka Otočac will direct visitors to localities outside the museum, since the story of the heritage of this region is just beginning in the museum.
