Laktić Mario family farm from Gospić was founded in 2016, and has been active in blueberry production since 2017. The farm is located in Smiljan and currently has about 800 blueberry crops. Another 1000 are planned. The farm has used European Union funding for accomplishing their goals. Their desired goal is to increase the production to not only buying more fruits, but also processing them into juice and jam. The fruits from their farm have not been treated with any pesticides and are 100% ecologically grown. They are going to sell their produce at their doorstep and local markets this year.
